Fishing sea and river fishing may be enjoyed all over the island. Salmon, sea trout, brown trout and rainbow trout can be caught.

Hill Walking is available all over the Angus glens.

Angus has a spectacular and varied natural environment and has many activities on offer. You can go mountain biking, cycling, hiking, surfing, sailing, riding, kayaking, fishing in the lochs, sea and rivers, or play golf at one of the many excellent golf courses like Carnoustie, Panmure or Letham Grange etc. in this easily accessible region. You can even have a go at paintball at Bedlam Paintball in Edzell Woods, near Brechin. Edzell is the gateway to beautiful Glen Esk.
